Journal of Dual Legal Systems with P-ISSN 3048-3700 (Print), E-ISSN 3064-0555 (Online) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by STAI Syekh Abdur Rauf, Aceh Singkil, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles (See Focus and Scope). Scientific publications are reviewed by experts in their fields of expertise with abstracts in English and Indonesian. Submitted manuscripts must discuss scientific achievements or novelties in accordance with their focus and scope. All texts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for 25% similarity. Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in Indonesian and English. This journal is published regularly twice a year, namely every March (first edition) and September (second edition).
Journal of Dual Legal Systems (JDLS) focuses on scholarly studies of Islamic law, national law, customary law, and other legal systems, particularly research that examines their interaction, intersection, comparison, coexistence, and development in contemporary society. The journal welcomes original research and scholarly analyses in Islamic economic law and economic law, Islamic family law and family law, Islamic legal administration and administrative law, Islamic jurisprudence, comparative law, contemporary Islamic legal issues, Islamic law and society, Islamic criminal law, constitutional law, halal and consumer law, international law, environmental law, agrarian law, customary law, human rights, marriage and gender issues, Islamic political jurisprudence (fiqh siyasah), and Islamic astronomy (ilmu falak). JDLS also welcomes interdisciplinary and comparative studies that contribute to a deeper understanding of legal systems, legal institutions, legal practices, and the relationship between Islamic and other normative legal frameworks.
